“So， there are aliens out there? what are they look like?(话说，外面有外星人？它们看起来什么样？)”云飞十分好奇。
“There hasn’t any been identfied yet.(还没有明确认定) the first outbreak was an explorion at NASA(首先爆发是在NASA发生了一起爆炸)， who the hell know what they have done there(谁知道他们在那捣鼓了什么)， maybe they call the aliens to the Earth by mistake(没准儿是他们犯错，把外星人叫来地球的呢). but the only thing strange so far is that red hole in sky(现在唯一明显奇怪的是天上的红洞)， NASA said it’s emitting lots of universe radiation， and strange electric & magnetic signals(NASA说它在发射强烈的宇宙射线，还有奇怪的电磁信号). But the society has collapsed everywhere， people are going crazy(但各个社区却都崩溃了，人都疯了似的)…”Emma回答道。大概过去两天发生的事又回到她的脑海，挤没了那份在龙卷风下存活的庆幸。
两人都陷入沉默，偶尔咬口能量棒，喝口咖啡，是的，赫敏带回来一包咖啡，虽然没滤纸，但两人谁都没介意带着碎渣喝。
“how is your…injury?feel anything with your leg?(你的...伤怎样了？你的腿有什么感觉么？)”Emma问。
“I am not sure， the numb feelings are less， but I still cannot more a toe.(不知道，麻木的感觉轻了些，但我还是一点都不能动)”云飞答。
“well that’s a good sign! means the swelling or whatever pressuring your nerves are gone.(那是个好现象！说明水肿或者什么压迫到你神经的东西在消失)”很意外Emma说得很到位。
“your medical knowledge is good!(你的医学知识很到位)”云飞说。
“My mom is a nurse…Do you think it’s a global thing? or it’s only happening here， in US?(我妈妈是个护士...你觉得外星入侵是全球的？还是只在美国？)”Emma想起了家人，问。但两人又都陷入了沉默，因为答案似乎不乐观。”anyway， let me help you， give your leg some massages will help you recover quicker!(算了不想了，我来帮帮你吧，给你的腿按摩一下，你能好快点！)”Emma要给云飞按摩。
云飞想说，在不确定是否有脊椎损伤之前，不宜做按摩这种可能加深损伤的动作，但他还是止住了这直男想法，反正Emma只说是腿，没说要给他按腰。
摇曳的火光中，云飞看着Emma一边捏着自己的腿，一边问他有什么感觉，焦虑的心中有了片刻的宁静。
宁静中，外面驶近的摩托声极为刺耳，两人瞬间都抓起了身边的武器…
